CHARACTER

A varied muck site where sand and rocks gradually meet colourful coral.

Near Dauin's old pier, Maayongtubig offers a sandy bottom scattered with rocks. Camouflaged frogfish, colourful nudibranchs and several octopus species may hide here. Deeper in the southern section, coral formations add colour and habitat diversity.
